Software Engineer (Full Stack - Angular Focus) The Opportunity

A global technology-driven organisation is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Digital Services team in Belfast.

This role is front-end led, with a strong emphasis on Angular development, while also offering exposure across the full technology stack including Java and cloud-based architectures. You'll help build intelligent, customer-focused web and mobile applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.

Working within an Agile environment, you'll collaborate closely with Product and UX to take ideas from concept through to production.

• Develop responsive, customer-centric applications using Angular (17+) and Ionic
• Contribute across the full stack, including Java-based backend services
• Deliver secure, high-quality, fully tested solutions for web and mobile platforms
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
• Work closely with Product and UX to shape solution design
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives

• Strong commercial experience with Angular (or similar framework such as React/Vue)
• Experience with Java backend development
• Understanding of distributed systems and modern architecture
• Experience working with AWS (or similar cloud platform)
• 4+ years' experience in a fast-paced engineering environment
• Strong communication and collaborative team skills
