Senior Software Engineer

VANRATH is delighted to be partnering with a global market-leading financial technology organisation to recruit a Senior Software Engineer for a high-impact engineering team.

This is an outstanding opportunity to work on business-critical, real-time systems that underpin global financial markets. You’ll join a highly skilled, collaborative Agile team, building cloud-native, event-driven platforms used by both internal trading teams and external clients worldwide.

• Design and build scalable, distributed systems using modern .NET
• Develop high-quality APIs and cloud-based solutions
• Collaborate closely with architects and senior engineers
• Mentor other developers and drive best practice
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle

• Strong experience with C# / .NET Core
• Background in cloud-native, distributed or event-driven architectures
• Solid database experience (SQL Server / MySQL)
• Exposure to AWS or Azure
