- Developing software for our Encryption Intelligence technology, working under the guidance of software architects and senior colleagues.
- Transforming architectural models into component designs ready to be incrementally developed, tested and deployed.
- Collaborating closely with software, automation and Dev Ops engineers to implement, review, test and deploy full‑stack software changes.
- Working extensively with Python, with opportunities to train on Rust and Angular
JS. - Analyzing the metrics of deployment changes, ensuring high resiliency and performance, resolving issues as they arise.
- Fixing issues found internally and by our customers.
- Actively participating in Agile development activities and rituals, supporting the growth of the team and its members.
- Being open to receiving feedback and willing to offer constructive feedback and support to others.
- Working closely with the Product Management team to help further refine requirements.
- Significant commercial experience developing complex enterprise software and services.
- Demonstrable experience building horizontally scalable, mission‑critical enterprise software and services, preferably in a startup environment.
- Experience with cloud service development (public/hybrid/private cloud PaaS or SaaS).
- Extensive experience of Python programming and best practice.
- Demonstrable passion for software development through self‑learning, personal projects, competitions etc.
- Experience with triage, RCA and fix for software issues within a distributed system.
- Competence in multiple programming languages.
- Experience with database development (SQL and No
SQL). - Experience with design patterns, refactoring, OO design and related areas.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated accountability for results while working with high autonomy.
- The right to live and work in the UK without restriction.
- Experience working in cyber security.
- Experience in a start‑up/scale‑up.
- Agile or Kanban experience.
- Experience consuming cloud services from major providers (Azure, AWS, Google).
- Both Linux and Windows development experience.
- Rust, Angular
JS, C++ knowledge. - CI/CD deployment experience (Azure Dev Ops , Helm, Flux).
- Experience mentoring and training junior staff.
