Foods Connected is an award‑winning cloud‑based software platform that helps retailers and food companies worldwide manage their supply chain, quality control, trading and planning. Our solutions are used by 10 of the largest food retailers, giving customers real‑time visibility and reporting.

The Solutions Engineer will be part of the Professional Services team based in Northern Ireland (Derry or Belfast). You will work directly with customers to design, implement, optimise and maintain scalable integrations that enable seamless data flow between their systems and the Foods Connected platform.

• Lead customer integration calls with technical stakeholders.
• Run discovery workshops to understand customer needs, data structures and integration workflows.
• Translate requirements into maintainable solutions using automation tooling, APIs and other integration frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Implementation teams to support integration goals.
• Configure, test and validate integrations, including data mapping, transformation and API connectivity.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain and monitor existing integrations, ensuring reliability and alignment with evolving requirements.
• Document integration requirements, technical specifications and support materials.
• Provide feedback to Product and Engineering based on customer needs.
• Continuously improve integration processes and methodologies to increase scalability, quality and efficiency.

Minimum qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in a technical customer‑facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or similar.
• Experience working with SaaS platforms and system integrations.

Technical skills

• APIs and integration protocols such as REST and SOAP.
• Data formats including JSON, XML and CSV.
• Integration tools, automation platforms or iPaaS solutions.
• Understanding of SQL and relational data structures.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams and reading technical documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
