Due to the increased demands across Children & Family Services we are recruiting Band 4 social work assistants Hours of Work:
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Across Belfast Area Pay Rate: £13.57 per hour & 0.56 per mile What does the job in involve?

The Social Work Assistant will be primarily responsible for assisting social work managers in the provision of quality social work services to children and families. He/She will work within a Children’s Services Team and will undertake tasks allocated by the Social Work Team Manager to support social workers in the discharge of their duties. The Social Work Assistant will also be expected to ensure continuing professional development through training, supervision and learning in line with NISCC registration requirements.

• NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 3 in a care-related subject
  * and 1 years’ experience working in a social care role OR
• NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 2 in a care-related subject and 2 years’ experience working in a social care role OR
• 4 GCSEs (Grades A-C) and 3 years’ experience working in a social care role
• Registered with NISCC
• Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment, including business insurance
