Due to our continued success and expansion in the heating sector, we are currently recruiting for a Commercial Service Engineer, with relevant Commercial experience, to undertake commissioning and warranty works for some of the UK's leading manufacturers throughout Northern Ireland.
The Service Engineer must be able to work both independently and with a team of operations and technical staff to achieve project goals. The Commercial Service Engineer will work across all types of sites including homes, industrial, offices etc. The Commercial Service Engineer will ensure the successful servicing and commissioning of domestic and/or commercial heating systems. The Service Engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during the servicing process.
Ideally the engineer will have breakdown experience, however full training will be given.

- Servicing and commissioning of domestic/commercial heating systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the servicing process
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly & meets industry standards
- Provide technical support
- A minimum of 2 years commercial experience, post apprenticeship, in a similar job role
- A full driving licence
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Work as part of a team
- Oftec training
- Electrical experience
- Breakdown experience

500 Joining Bonus Terms and Conditions. The 500 joining bonus is available to new employees who successfully join solv in an eligible role, subject to these terms and conditions. The joining bonus will be paid via payroll and is subject to PAYE tax and National Insurance deductions in accordance with UK law. Payment of the joining bonus will be made after the employee has commenced employment, at a time confirmed in the offer letter or contract of employment.
If the employees employment ends for any reason during the 6 month probation period, the joining bonus must be repaid in full. The employee agrees that any repayable joining bonus may be deducted from their final salary, where legally permitted. If the final salary does not cover the full amount, the remaining balance must be repaid to the company. The joining bonus is non transferable, cannot be exchanged for any other benefit, and is offered at the company's discretion.
This offer may be role specific, time limited, and may be withdrawn or amended at any time without prior notice. The joining bonus does not form part of the employees contractual salary and does not affect entitlement to any other pay, benefits, or bonuses.
