Position: Furniture Technician Permanent)
Service Technician – Belfast – £31,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

This is a customer facing, hands-on Service Technician role where quality, pride in workmanship and first class service really matter. You will be trusted to represent the brand in customers’ homes, carrying out professional repairs and leaving every customer confident they made the right choice.

Are you experienced in upholstery, furniture repair or hands-on technical work?

Are you comfortable working independently in customers’ homes?

Do you take pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction?

Are you confident using hand tools and working with fabric or leather materials?

What you NEED...

Experience in upholstery, furniture repair, joinery, fitting, automotive trim or a similar hands-on trade

Confidence working in customer homes and representing a brand professionally

Practical skills using tools such as staplers, cutters, sewing equipment and hand tools

Ability to diagnose faults, damage or wear and decide on the best repair solution

A strong eye for detail and commitment to high quality standards

Physically able to lift and manoeuvre furniture safely

Full UK driving licence

What you will be doing

Carrying out furniture repairs, adjustments and maintenance in customer homes, retail sites and distribution centres

Repairing and replacing coverings and internal components including fabric, leather, foam, frames, springs and mechanisms

Inspecting furniture to identify damage or defects and determining the most effective repair method

Communicating clearly with customers, explaining work carried out in a simple and reassuring way

Completing accurate job records including repairs completed, parts used and feedback

Working closely with customer care, retail and quality teams to deliver a seamless experience

Educating customers on furniture care to maximise longevity and appearance

Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company processes

Nice to Haves

1 to 3 years experience in upholstery or furniture repair

Background in automotive trim, upholstery, joinery or soft furnishings

Experience working in a field based or mobile service role
