What we are looking forWe are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer in Belfast to provide a secure and safe environment for all staff and visitors on site. This will be achieved through applying thorough access control procedures, carrying out site inductions, planned and adhoc site patrols, and other duties as determined by the Assignment Instructions. In the event of an emergency, follow prescribed escalation/communication procedures with Site Management, Corps colleagues and the emergency services.
You will work 42 hours per week, 4 on, 4 off days.

- A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential
- A Full UK Manual Driving License - essential
- Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft software packages (e.g. Excel)
- Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards
- Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carry out regular site patrols and record these as per Corps and Customer requirements
- Ensure all visitors and contractors to site are correctly briefed, sign in and out of the site
- Record entry and exit of deliveries on site, including processing of paperwork in line with site quality procedures
- Ensure patrols are carried out to the correct standards
- Set and unset primary and secondary alarm security systems for out-of-hours security provision if applicable
- Comply with site waste management procedures
- Complete documents as required including daily occurrence log, shift handover, incident/accident records and site-specific reports
- Familiarise yourself with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and other quality & safety documents; advise Corps Duty Manager and/or client personnel on changes or recommendations to improve
- Maintain your own training records via Corps Colleague Portal; ensure your first aid and fire marshal training complies with legislative guidelines
- Continuously apply your SIA skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism. Your SIA licence must be displayed at all times
- Perform ad hoc duties as directed
