Relief Security Officer

Job Description

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes :

• To provide security services at various sites across a defined geographical area as required.
• Protecting the customer’s employees, property, and other assets in line with the relevant Assignment Instructions and site‑specific customer requirements
• Delivering the highest levels of customer service which consistently demonstrate Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. (NB : the prospective Security Officer must have acquired the full SIA licence before being able to start work on operational shifts)
• Display an outstanding level of customer service
• Take responsibility for problems that staff and visitors may have
• Display the highest standard of personal presentation and smartness of uniform to maintain the image of Securitas and the customer
• Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and conduct effective handover procedures.
• Undertake any other duties as requested by Branch Management
• Accurately maintaining records of all activity and handovers.

What we’re looking for :

• A valid SIA licence.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
• Driving licence with access to your own vehicle / good transport links.
