Business Development Manager – Medical / Healthcare Sector

Northern Ireland (Belfast region)

We are partnering with a well-established and highly respected medical organisation that is currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing commercial team.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Sales Director
, you will play a key role in driving business growth across Northern Ireland
, with a particular focus on the Belfast region
.

You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and expanding existing accounts within the medical and healthcare sector
.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision makers, and influencers across the healthcare sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
    , building a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
    , ensuring continued business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver engaging product and service presentations to clinical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade exhibitions to increase brand visibility and generate new leads.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a high level of service delivery and customer experience.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a business development or sales role within the medical or healthcare sector.
  • Proven track record of growing sales revenue and developing new business opportunities.
Key Skills
  • Strong ability to identify profitable customer niches and build long-term buying relationships.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of clinical environments.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and self-driven with a proactive sales mindset.
  • Professional, personable, and confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Full clean driver’s licence required.
