Contract Sales Consultant – Fire Suppression
Location: Northern Ireland (flexible / hybrid working). Regular travel to customer sites expected
What You Will DoReporting into the Provincial Fire Ireland team, which is primarily focused on delivering fire suppression solutions, this role has been created to support our continued growth ambitions. We are strengthening the team with the addition of a Contract Sales Consultant.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving incremental growth from both existing and new customers. This includes identifying and targeting Northern Ireland–based sites, clients, projects, and opportunities, while building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and influencers across the market.
Your ultimate objectives will be to:
- Expand our market share within targeted accounts
- Grow the existing service client base through strategic, site-led engagement
- Identify and pursue opportunities in new and adjacent market areas to support long-term, sustainable growth
- Identifying, developing, and qualifying new business opportunities where the primary solutions are fire suppression systems
- Driving the creation of high-quality sales opportunities and improving conversion rates
- Leveraging existing relationships to uncover new opportunities across defined growth markets and sectors
- Identifying and progressing cross-sell opportunities where applicable
- Fully qualifying opportunities to support clear bid / no-bid decisions
- Bringing professionalism, structure, and technical credibility to every opportunity
- Managing all bid milestones and timescales in collaboration with internal bid and delivery teams to meet client requirements
- Maintaining focus and discipline around agreed growth strategies, priority accounts, and opportunity pipelines
- Building and managing effective relationships across new accounts and project stakeholders
- Creating and presenting high-quality, winning commercial proposals
- A strong track record in creating new accounts and sales opportunities
- Experience managing complex opportunities and working collaboratively with sales and bid teams to develop detailed proposals
- The ability to develop, communicate, and present compelling value‑led solutions
- Technical experience, competency, and understanding of engineered or life-safety solutions
- Experience with in the power, industrial, construction, or regulated contracting sectors
