THE EMPLOYER IS: ACTION CANCER FURNITURE PETERS HILL. Working as part of the retail team to assist with the day‑to‑day operations in our Action Cancer retail store, providing excellent customer service to customers.
Responsibilities- Sort donated stock, including pricing, barcoding and identifying Gift Aid donations.
- Ensure a high standard of presentation, display and merchandising.
- Be responsible for operating the electronic till system including recording donations and processing sales.
- Work with the store manager to market and promote items on various social media platforms.
- Assist with housekeeping and adherence to Health and safety regulations.
- Attend First Aid training course.
- Good team working skills.
- Ability to be friendly and polite.
- Ability to follow procedures correctly, such as using a till.
- Communication skills in retail.
- Experience using epos till system.
