Retail Sales Assistant-Furniture

THE EMPLOYER IS: ACTION CANCER FURNITURE PETERS HILL. Working as part of the retail team to assist with the day‑to‑day operations in our Action Cancer retail store, providing excellent customer service to customers.

• Sort donated stock, including pricing, barcoding and identifying Gift Aid donations.
• Ensure a high standard of presentation, display and merchandising.
• Be responsible for operating the electronic till system including recording donations and processing sales.
• Work with the store manager to market and promote items on various social media platforms.
• Assist with housekeeping and adherence to Health and safety regulations.
• Attend First Aid training course.

• Good team working skills.
• Ability to be friendly and polite.
• Ability to follow procedures correctly, such as using a till.
• Communication skills in retail.
• Experience using epos till system.
