Community Hub Support Assistant

THE EMPLOYER IS: PHOENIX EDUCATION CENTRE. Support the day-to-day running of the Phoenix Community Hub and Preloved Uniform Shop.

• Support the day-to-day running of the Phoenix Community Hub and Preloved Uniform Shop.
• Assist volunteers in managing stock, sorting donations, restocking shelves and maintaining displays.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service to local families accessing uniforms and community resources.
• Keep accurate records of stock levels and assist with basic computer input (Excel, stock lists, etc.).
• Help organise community drop-ins, information sessions, and small-scale events in the hub.
• Learn key skills in customer service, stock control, community engagement and digital systems.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Basic IT skills (e.g. Excel, Word, email).
• Good organisation and time management.
