Sodexo is looking for a friendly and reliable Food Service Assistant with till experience to join our catering team. This is a hands‑on role based within the servery, where you’ll play a key part in delivering a welcoming food service experience while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. From operating the till and supporting customers, to cleaning coffee machines, assisting with pot wash, and supporting the wider team with additional tasks, you’ll be someone who enjoys variety, works well to a schedule, and takes pride in keeping service areas running smoothly.

What you’ll do:
  • Carry out all cleaning duties to the required standard, completing daily and weekly schedules as trained and maintaining high standards across client premises.
  • Use cleaning equipment safely, completing pre‑use checks, keeping cupboards and supplies tidy, and working in line with Sodexo, P&G, and statutory health & safety requirements.
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail by identifying, reporting, and where possible rectifying defects, outages, and health & safety concerns promptly.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, showing flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach by undertaking all required training within set timescales and consistently working in a safe, compliant manner.
