THE EMPLOYER IS: BIA LOCH LAO. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, assisting chefs, and ensuring a smooth workflow in food preparation environments. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities- Cleaning Duties:
Regularly wash dishes, pots, and pans, and maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas and kitchen floors. - Food Preparation:
Assist chefs with basic food prep tasks, such as washing and chopping vegetables, and preparing ingredients as needed. - Stock Management:
Help manage kitchen stock, including organising supplies and ensuring that ingredients are properly stored and labelled. - Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure that kitchen equipment is clean and in good working order, reporting any issues to the kitchen manager or head chef. - Health and Safety Compliance:
Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Teamwork:
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Attention to Detail:
Strong focus on cleanliness and organisation to ensure kitchen standards are met. - Physical Stamina:
Capability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.
