With 82 beautifully appointed bedrooms, a destination restaurant, café/bar, and exclusive private dining rooms, The Bedford Hotel Belfast will set new standards for hospitality in Northern Ireland.

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all kitchen areas by following established procedures each day set by the Head Chef.

• You’ll have a positive mentality and can-do attitude supporting the rest of the Kitchen Team with any tasks as required.
• To work the sections, ensuring that pot-wash standards are dealt with efficiently and to the best of your ability, always ensuring the utmost cleanliness.
• Display efficient working practices and ensure all the kitchen, utensils, cookware, and crockery are properly cleaned in a timely manner.
• Support the Head Chef with stock taking and storage of stock, including checking deliveries.
• To assist in ensuring a high level of Health & Safety, cleanliness and food hygiene and to ensure that safe working practices are followed.
• Be aware of COSHH regulations and use of PPE.
• To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job.

• Previous experience preferred.
• To be able to work in a fast-paced environment and to enjoy it.
