Quality Inspector; FTC

Overview

Quality Inspector (FTC) – 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in Belfast, UK. Reports to the Quality Manager. The Quality Inspector will prevent non-conforming material from reaching customers and interruptting production lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring and inspecting products/components to ensure they meet quality criteria. Training will be provided to carry out both visual and dimensional inspection activities to the appropriate quality standard and complete reporting documentation.

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure products/components meet defined quality criteria.
• Prevent non-conforming material from reaching customers and interrupting production lines.
• Complete reporting documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

• 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English (grade C or above)
• 2 years relevant experience in a high-tech production environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Good manual dexterity required for handling/manipulation of small/delicate components
