Junior AI Marketing Specialist

THE EMPLOYER IS: IPAYPDQ t/a CARD TERMINAL PAYMENTS SYSTEM LTDThis is an entry-level position designed for a motivated individual to learn and apply cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to drive marketing initiatives for a merchant retail service. The role focuses on leveraging AI to enhance marketing efficiency, personalization, and analytics, with comprehensive training provided by industry experts.

• Assist in the implementation and management of AI-powered marketing platforms for tasks such as content ideation, copy generation, and basic graphic creation.
• Support the analysis of merchant and customer data using AI analytics tools to identify trends, segment audiences, and measure campaign performance.
• Help execute and optimize automated, AI-driven marketing campaigns across channels like email, social media, and digital advertising.
• Participate in training sessions to build proficiency in various AI technologies relevant to digital marketing and e-commerce.
• Contribute to A/B testing and reporting on the effectiveness of AI-generated marketing materials and strategies.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to explore new AI applications that can improve merchant acquisition, engagement, and retention.

• The ability to navigate digital platforms, understand basic online marketing concepts (like SEO, social media, email marketing), and interpret simple data sets and reports.
• A proactive desire to learn about both AI and marketing, coupled with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts, tools, and processes. Comfort with "not knowing" and figuring it out is key.
• The ability to write clearly, concisely, and grammatically. This includes communicating questions to your trainers and collaborating with team members.
• The ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and keep digital materials and projects organised.
• The ability to not just follow instructions, but to think about why a task is done, identify when an AI output is off-mark, and troubleshoot basic issues.
