Our client is looking for a junior maintenance technician / engineer to support their production operation. Core duties and responsibilities whilst on shift will include, but are not limited to:
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure high operational standards, including welding rectifiers, wire feed units, robots, assembly jigs, laser cutting machines
* Provide reactive maintenance to plant equipment as needed i.e. Troubleshooting and repair of machinery in the factory
* Fabrication of equipment upgrades
* Receive support tickets for breakdowns and see them through to completion
* Ordering of spares
* Stock taking of spares
* Communicate with colleagues, external contractors and suppliers to ensure plant equipment uptime
* Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date. What You'll Need To Succeed In order to be considered for this role the following skills and experience are desirable:
Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, and mechanical systems
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings
* Ability and willingness to work at heights
* Previous experience in a similar role
* A team player with the ability to work independently
* Strong attention to detail
* Health and safety awareness. What You'll Get In Return

This role offers an attractive day shift pattern without weekends. The regular hours of work are Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 16:00  Friday 07:00 - 13:00. The starting salary on the role is £29120 with enhanced OT rates also available to supplement your earning potential.
