CNC Machine Operator - Dunmurry, Belfast £15-£17 per hour | Dayshift | Permanent Opportunity Are you an experienced CNC Machine Operator looking for a stable role within a well-established manufacturing environment? Ashton Recruitment are currently working with a reputable engineering client based in Dunmurry, Belfast , who are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join their busy machine shop.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a modern workshop environment using a range of manual and CNC machinery. You will be involved in:
Operating CNC lathes and machining centres Programming, setting and operating CNC machinery Working with manual lathes and pedestal drills Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Producing components to specification and quality standards Supporting general machine shop operations This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist who is looking for long-term, stable employment with consistent hours. What's on offer: £15-£17 per hour (depending on experience) Monday-Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm Friday: 8:00am - 1:00pm Day shift only Supportive, well-established engineering environment

Essential Criteria Minimum 3 years' post-apprenticeship experience in a machine shop GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English Competent in CNC lathe programming, setting and operating Experience using manual lathes and CNC machining centres Confident working with Fanuc control systems Desirable Criteria Experience working with a variety of machine shop equipment Knowledge of Mazatrol and/or Heidenhain controls
