Technical Incoming Inspector - Belfast (Onsite) Contract | Up to £31.90/hr (Umbrella) | £23.84/hr (PAYE) | 35 hrs/week Paid overtime: 25% uplift Mon-Fri and 50% uplift Sat-Sun.

60 are looking for an experienced Technical Incoming Inspector to join their client's leading aerospace organisation on a long-term contract. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that all incoming products meet strict quality, safety and compliance standards before entering the manufacturing and assembly process. This is a hands-on, quality-focused role ideal for professionals with an electrical or mechanical background who thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities Perform inspection, quality control and quality assurance activities on incoming parts and materials. Verify compliance with design specifications, customer requirements and regulatory standards. Provide technical guidance to operators when required. Monitor the Delegated Operator Scheme and ensure compliance. Compile technical reports to highlight any drawing, tooling or process discrepancies. Collaborate effectively within inspection and production teams. Requirements Essential Completed a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship.

Minimum 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience in an aerospace, manufacturing, assembly or tooling environment. Strong understanding of quality control procedures. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly practices within an engineering setting. Confident written and verbal communication skills. Desirable Familiarity with 3D metrology. Working Pattern 35 hours per week across 4.5 days. Working hours between 07:00-19:00, set at business discretion.
