Associate Post Production Engineer
Axial3D is seeking a motivated Associate Post-Production Engineer to join our existing team. This role is central to the production and global distribution of our patient specific medical 3D printed models, serving the needs of our international hospital and medical device customers. We have a flexible working environment and hours, designed to support a healthy work/life balance.
Responsibilities include overseeing the maintenance of Axial3D’s in-house fleet of 3D printers and post-processing medical models for use in surgical interventions, as well as assisting with dispatch, logistics and quality control.

The RoleAs an Associate Post Production Engineer, you will be:
- Post-processing 3D printed models
- Conducting quality inspections on finished 3D-printed models
- Packaging products in accordance with company quality standards and procedures
- Performing routine maintenance on 3D printers
- Identifying and reporting print failures, defects, and equipment issues
- Maintaining and cleaning production areas, including the safe handling of resins, solvents, and consumables
- Actively participating in the Quality Management System (QMS) and adhering to related policies and procedures
- Ensuring customer requirements and end‑user needs are met
- Working to production schedules and delivery deadlines
We are seeking someone with knowledge of various 3D printing technologies and their practical applications, including SLA, DLP, FDM, or similar methods. You should be confident working in a hands‑on manufacturing or production setting and able to follow established processes and work instructions with a high level of accuracy.
For this opportunity, you should have:
- GCSE Grade or higher
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge of CAD software and digital manufacturing processes
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, workshop, laboratory, or production environment
- Working hours:
37.5 per week - Based in a professional modern office located in Belfast
- Job Types: Full-time Permanent
