Job : DFP/MO/01/26

The job role involves being responsible for routine mechanical tasks and the essential upkeep of machinery to minimise downtime and ensure the smooth running of the Production Department.

• Machinery and equipment safety checks as necessary;
• Accountable for the efficient and uninterrupted operation of machinery;
• Transport goods and pallets across site using a counterbalance forklift;
• Maintain appropriate records for the department;
• Fulfil daily production requirements as instructed by the Production Management Team;
• Keep downtime and waste to a minimum.

• Previous work experience in a food manufacturing environment;
• Experience of record keeping with attention to detail;
• An awareness of health and safety legislation;
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills;
• Good level of written and spoken English;
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines & targets.

Monday to Friday with varying start and finish times to suit the needs of the business.
