Full-time, Permanent About the Role We're seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Plant Engineer to join our busy and dynamic team. You'll play a key role in the inspection, servicing, and repair of a wide range of plant machinery — ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standard and ready to meet customer demands. This is a hands-on role working both independently and as part of a supportive team.

You'll be based in the workshop but may also be required to travel to customer sites as part of the mobile service team.

Key Responsibilities Work safely and respectfully within a busy workshop and on-site environment. Inspect, repair, and maintain a variety of plant equipment and machinery. Carry out servicing in line with manufacturers' schedules and company standards. Deliver high-quality workmanship with attention to detail. Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management. Support a culture of safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For Proven experience in plant maintenance and repair. NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plant Maintenance or related discipline — or the ability and motivation to achieve this qualification. A personal set of tools suitable for the role. A willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges. Strong communication skills, honesty, and respect for colleagues and customers alike.
