Artemis Executive Search is excited to partner with a dynamic, private equity-backed professional services firm in their search for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This pivotal role will oversee the financial operations and business support functions, including Marketing, IT, HR, and the Operations team, contributing to the strategic direction of the business and driving sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the financial strategy, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for the company.
  • Oversee the Finance team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
  • Manage the integration and performance of business support functions, including Marketing, IT, HR, and Operations, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals.
  • Set annual budgets for departments, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support strategic initiatives.
  • Drive operational efficiencies across the Marketing, IT, HR, and Operations teams, implementing cost-effective strategies and optimizing resources.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and private equity stakeholders.
  • Drive business transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and governance standards.
  • Manage investor relations, financial reporting, and audits.
  • Act as a key advisor on mergers and acquisitions, capital structuring, and business development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant – 6+ Years PQE
  • Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or in a senior financial leadership role within a private equity-backed or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, including accounting, corporate finance, and performance management.
  • Experience in overseeing cross-functional teams (Marketing, IT, HR, and Operations).
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
