The Chief of Staff will operate as a trusted advisor and integrator bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to a complex, fast-paced environment. Working closely with the CEO, senior leadership team, board, and investors, this role requires sound judgement, executive presence, and the ability to operate confidently at the highest levels.

Key Responsibilities 1. CEO Partnership & Executive Leverage Act as a true extension of the CEO, enabling focus on the highest-impact priorities. Protect and optimise the CEOs time through disciplined prioritisation, sequencing, and gatekeeping. Anticipate needs and ensure full preparation for all meetings, decisions, and engagements. Draft, review, and refine board-ready correspondence, reports, presentations, and executive communications. Maintain holistic visibility over commitments, decisions, and follow-through.
2. Strategy, Planning & Execution Support the CEO in setting strategic priorities and translating them into clear plans and operating rhythms. Track key initiatives, milestones, and deliverables across the organisation. Drive progress on priority initiatives, special projects, and cross-functional work streams. Surface risks, blockers, and dependencies early, proposing solutions and course corrections. Bring discipline, structure, and cadence to the CEOs operating model.
3. Governance, Board & Investor Engagement Own the end-to-end coordination of board processes, including agendas, board packs, minutes, and action tracking. Ensure governance materials are prepared to a consistently high professional standard. Support investor communications, updates, and executive-level reporting. Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, integrity, and governance.
4. Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment Act as a central conduit between the CEO and the senior leadership team to ensure clarity, alignment, and accountability. Build trusted relationships with board members, executives, investors, partners, and key external stakeholders. Represent the CEO in senior-level interactions where appropriate. Prepare concise briefing notes, meeting summaries, and decision logs to support effective execution.
5. Operational Excellence & Cadence Oversee the CEOs diary and engagement calendar in line with strategic priorities. Ensure seamless preparation for board cycles, investor engagements, international travel, and key events. Track actions and commitments across multiple teams to ensure timely execution. Establish and maintain robust systems for planning, documentation, and task tracking. Candidate Profile Essential Experience 5 years experience working closely with C-level executives (CEO, Founder, MD, or equivalent).
Demonstrated experience supporting board and governance processes. Exceptional written communication skills with consistently board-ready output. Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility. Strong judgement in navigating complex, high-volume, and often ambiguous information. Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth, or multi-entity environments.
Desirable Experience Background in technology, SaaS, insurance, or scale-up organisations. Exposure to strategy execution, operating rhythms, or Chief of Staff style responsibilities. Experience working with investors, boards, or private equity-backed businesses. Supporting internationally mobile executives across multiple geographies.
