Audit Director

Artemis Human Capital is working in partnership with a highly respected professional services firm as they seek to appoint an experienced Audit Director to lead their external audit function across an enviable portfolio of Northern Ireland-based clients. This is a pivotal & strategic role within the firms senior leadership team, offering the successful candidate an opportunity to lead & grow a high performing team, whilst taking ownership of a portfolio of clients, consisting of top NI businesses.

Youll play a key role in shaping the audit team, contributing to business development efforts, & maintaining the firms excellent reputation in the market.

Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of high-quality audit services to a diverse portfolio of NI-based clients. Oversee & mentor a team of audit professionals, driving quality & performance. Build & maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact. Contribute to the firms strategic planning & business development initiatives. Candidate Criteria An ACA or ACCA qualified accountant. Recent experience in a senior leadership role within a high-performing audit team.

Strong technical knowledge & commercial awareness. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. A desire to help shape & drive forward a successful & ambitious audit team.
