Position: Interim Managing Director (Maintenance / Construction)
Your new company The services of Hays have been retained by our client, a large Maintenance / Construction business based in Belfast, to recruit an interim Managing Director on a fixed-term basis for a period of 6 months. Your new role You will have responsibility for leading the organisation's maintenance and direct services arm, which will include running the day-to-day operations whilst also setting strategy, managing people, controlling budgets, meeting contracts, and reporting to the board during.

Commercial and operational running of a maintenance/ construction service. Managing a large staff team. Providing expert advice to senior staff / stakeholders. Delivering a high performing service with clear VFM metrics. You should have the ability to:
Lead, motivate and develop staff. Lead the delivery of operational services. Think commercially and provide strategic business insight. Think strategically and solve complex problems. Set & control budgets. Represent and promote the organisation's vision and values. What you'll get in return
