The role offers the opportunity to join an established, high-performing Building Surveying team in Belfast. You will work closely with experienced professionals, delivering technically robust advice and managing projects end-to-end, while developing trusted relationships with key clients.
The consultancy is looking for someone ambitious, commercially aware and proactive — someone who takes pride in the quality of their work and wants to be part of a best-in-class team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver value for money across all projects, aligned with business objectives
- Manage projects from inception through to completion
- Carry out duties efficiently and in accordance with internal procedures
- Comply with agreed procurement, commercial and contractual strategies
- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety, Security and Quality standards
- Act as a trusted, client-facing professional delivering a consistently high standard of technical service
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related technical discipline
- MRICS (or membership of another relevant professional body)
- Strong technical delivery experience within a consultancy environment
- Good working knowledge of JCT Contracts
- Proven project management experience from inception to completion
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise workloads and deliver to deadlines
- Experience working collaboratively within professional teams
- Proactive, diligent and detail-oriented approach
- Excellent specification writing skills
- Confident and professional in client-facing environments
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
