IT Project Manager- Network Rollout

Job Summary VANRATH are partnering an organisation seeking an experienced Project Manager. This role will lead and manage delivery of a new network rollout across multiple NI locations for a major Public Sector organisation. Reporting into the Programme Manager, this is a full time role (5 days per week) and it is estimated will run for up to 12-18 months. Salary: £55-60k

Key Responsibilities Manage projects end-to-end complying with project and quality standards, ensuring that objectives and timescales can be met. Establish and lead project teams in the delivery of projects to agreed standards. Work closely with Delivery, Service and Account Management groups to ensure resources are available as required to deliver projects. Report on project progress and other key performance metrics to Programme Manager, Head of Delivery and to the Management Board.

Manage customer interactions and expectations during pre and post-delivery phases of project and to be available as a point of escalation for customers during the project phases. Manage the hand-over of the delivered project to the support and maintenance organisation.

Essential Criteria Experience in delivering multiple projects in complex commercial and technical environments and knowledge of project management techniques. Excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on delivery Ability to work independently to successfully tackle and resolve complex problems and issues. Strong negotiator to balance conflicting requirements and to ensure the availability of the resources required to deliver projects. Capable of leading a cross functional project team to successfully meet the delivery targets.

Qualifications for this post holder would be PRINCE2 accreditation or equivalent recognised industry PM accreditation.
