Operations Manager
The Ligoniel Village Regeneration Partnership (LVRP), formed in 2000, aims to promote the regeneration of the Ligoniel Community through collaboration between private developers, public and statutory bodies, and community organisations. The Integrated Local Area Plan for Ligoniel, launched in 2001, outlines action plans for social, economic, environmental, and physical regeneration, with the LIA as the lead partner.
Responsibilities- Integrate the work of the partnership’s five sub-committees.
- Ensure collaboration among all parties involved in the integrated plan.
- Engage the local community in the implementation of regeneration proposals.
- Network with government agencies, private sector, community organisations, trusts, and statutory bodies involved in regeneration.
- Explore, seek, and negotiate funding and resources from public, private, and charitable sectors.
- Publicise partnership's work to the wider community through various media.
- Work closely with the Director and staff of LIA in managing, resourcing, and supporting the Integrated Plan.
- Report regularly to the Partnership Board on progress in implementing the Integrated Plan.
- Undertake line management of project staff.
- Undertake job-related training as required.
- Attend meetings, conferences, etc., as directed.
- 3rd Level Qualification preferably in Economic Regeneration, Community Development, Marketing, Town Planning, etc.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in managing Community Regeneration Projects.
- Experience or working knowledge of Government policy on neighbourhood regeneration.
- Individuals with 5 years' experience in related development work may be considered if they do not meet essential specifications.
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Strong coordination and organisational skills.
- Innovative and entrepreneurial skills.
