Our client is a well-established, not-for-profit organisation operating across Northern Ireland and Ireland. With a strong track record spanning a number of decades, the organisation works in partnership with local authorities, community groups, funders and stakeholders to support positive engagement, collaboration and social impact.
The RoleThe Project Manager will take full responsibility for the development, management and delivery of a flagship, programme which culminates in a high profile networking event. This is a varied and high-impact role, combining programme management, stakeholder engagement and large-scale event delivery.
Key responsibilities include:Managing the full lifecycle of a major annual programme, from planning and design through to delivery, evaluation and reporting
Coordinating and overseeing delivery of a large-scale end-of-programme event
Working collaboratively as part of a cross-regional team to ensure programme objectives, timelines and deliverables are met
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, local authorities and external delivery partners
Securing annual funding and managing funder and sponsor relationships, including applications and reporting
Managing programme budgets, financial records, invoicing and procurement processes
Line managing a Project Support Officer to ensure effective delivery of operational activities
Developing and implementing efficient administrative and monitoring procedures
Contributing to programme communications, including digital and social media activity, in collaboration with internal colleagues
Identifying and managing programme risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation measures are in place
Producing regular operational, financial and narrative reports for internal and external stakeholders
Essential Criteria
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
Strong organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail
Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
Experience contributing to project communications, including written materials and social media
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and experience updating websites or databases
Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Northern Ireland and Ireland, with occasional travel further afield

Flexibility to work extended hours when required
35-hour working week
