Store​/Yard Person

Job Description:

Reporting to the Environmental Manager the successful candidate will work within our busy stores and yard, providing a full stores and yard service to both Heyn customers and staff for our Environmental and Engineering Divisions.

• Check goods‑in from all suppliers
• Load and unload all delivery vehicles
• Check all incoming deliveries are correct and query any discrepancies upon receipt
• Ensure stock is stored away promptly and accurately
• Assemble outgoing Environmental orders (including web orders)
• Book received goods onto Sage, generate Goods Received Notes and maintain stock control
• Assist with regular stocktaking audits
• Ensure the highest levels of housekeeping and H&S regulations are always maintained in both yard and stores
• Travel to customer sites to assemble street furniture
• Work in conjunction with Accounts department to action paperwork and invoices for timely payment

• Clean current Driving licence
• PC Skills
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Attention to detail with a "can do" attitude
• Counterbalance Forklift licence
• Previous work experience in a similar role
