Mervyn Stewart is continuing to grow and as a result we currently have an opportunity for another experienced Vehicle Technician in our busy Belfast showroom
.

In every aspect of our retailing, the aim is always to exceed customer expectation and so customer care is of paramount importance. Within this role you will be helping lead from the front to ensure that our customers receive the best possible After Sales experience.

Communication is key within our dealership, not only to ensure a 5-star customer experience but to build solid working relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks
• Carry out diagnostic procedures to determine faults
• Inspect vehicles according to current regulations
• Maintain a working knowledge of manufacturer processes
• Maintain legible and accurate records and paperwork

• Hard work, loyalty and achievements are recognised by an excellent salary from £33,000 OTE to £39,000 OTE, £43,500 OTE depending on experience and ability (including our achievable bonus scheme)
• £3,000 Boucher based
• 40 hrs a week, overtime available

• Have the ability to work with up‑to‑date technology using the latest repair methods and processes
• Have a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Will be required to participate in manufacturer training programmes
• Possess good oral and written communication along with IT skills
• Have experience in a similar role at franchised retailer level
• Have a full and valid UK driving licence
• EV Training Level 3 minimum

• Experience with manufacturer warranty repairs
• Experience in vehicle electrical diagnostics
• Relevant Franchise brand experience advantageous
