General Labourer

• Van driving, all over NI (but mostly in the Belfast/Antrim area)
• Delivering and collecting materials from site
• Waste removal from site and correct disposal
• Schedule work load by urgency and location
• Assisting the loading/unloading/movement of goods and equipment (including scrap metals, plastics to/from sites throughout Northern Ireland)
• Lifting, loading and carrying
• Working in a safe and timely fashion to ensure all deadlines are met
• Working in accordance with health & safety regulations
• Cleaning, sweeping and general cleaning of sites
• Carrying out work according to Irwin M&E’s policies and procedures
• Undertake any other duties deemed necessary by management to ensure the efficient running of the business
• PPE will be provided
• Full driving license with trailer categories
• Working knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation
• Good communication skills (good standard of English is essential)
• Heavy lifting
• Flexibility
• Excellent attendance and timekeeping
• Good attitude to work
• Willing to undertake any task to the best of their ability
• Ability to demonstrate good team ethos

Whilst not essential it would be advantageous for the candidate to have:

• CSR card or some construction site experience
