We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to join our team at HSC BSO – Franklin Street, Belfast. This is a great opportunity to join a world‑leading facilities management company.

• 20 hours per week
• 4 hours per day between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm
• Days worked Monday – Friday

• Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards – including weekly and periodic tasks.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by COSHH guidelines.
• Demonstrate full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents, and use equipment as directed by the line manager after correct training.
• Report immediately any faulty equipment and mark it as non‑usable.
• Use safety signage appropriately at all times (e.g., wet floor signs) and warn customers where possible.
• Keep cleaning stores clean and tidy; store equipment correctly and safely.
• Be knowledgeable about biohazard situations, handling bodily fluids such as blood, faeces or vomit that may carry infectious diseases.
• Safely dispose of sharps such as needles and blades when necessary.
• Comply with all security regulations for cleaning materials, equipment and buildings as laid down by the client and Mount Charles.

• Basic statutory training will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day‑to‑day basis.
