Quantity of Posts Available: 1

Salary: £12.21 per hour

• Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards – including weekly and periodic tasks.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by COSHH guidelines.
• Have full working knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials and agents and use equipment as directed by the Line Manager after correct training.
• Report immediately any faulty equipment, mark it as faulty and do not use.
• Ensure safety signage is used appropriately at all times (e.g., wet floor signs) and warn customers where possible.
• Keep cleaning stores clean and tidy and store equipment correctly and safely at all times.
• Be knowledgeable in biohazard/biological hazard; work in environments that may involve cleaning bodily fluids such as blood, faeces or vomit that can carry infectious diseases including hepatitis or HIV.
• Comply with all security regulations for cleaning materials, equipment and buildings as laid down by client and Mount Charles.

Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to help understand safety and work instructions and communicate with customers on a day‑to‑day basis.
