Senior Solicitor - Loss

Overview

We are working with a leading law firm based in Belfast for a Solicitor to join their Large Loss team.

The successful candidate will join a leading litigation team, working on high court and catastrophic injury claims. This will involve direct engagement with senior insurer claims handlers, advice on liability, indemnity, while managing cases in line with regulatory requirements.

You will analyse complex medical and expert evidence, shape litigation strategy, and take an active role in interviews, pleadings, mediations, and settlement meetings.

• 3+ years’ PQE;
• Strong experience in indemnity and liability matters;
• Technically excellent;
• Willingness to mentor junior members of the team;
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment;
• Problem-solving mindset;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
