DEFENCE INSURANCE SOLICITOR- NQ LEVEL

Our client is a leading insurance litigation firm, seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join its team in Belfast.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ solicitor to continue their career within a well-established, high-quality defence practice acting for major insurers and self-insured clients. The firm is known for its structured training, supportive culture, and clear progression pathways.

You will work as part of a busy and collaborative team handling a varied caseload of defence insurance matters, with supervision and mentoring from experienced practitioners. Typical work will include:

• Managing your own caseload of pre-litigated and litigated defence files
• Assisting on higher-value and more complex claims
• Drafting pleadings, correspondence, and court documents
• Liaising with insurers, experts, counsel, and other stakeholders
• Progressing claims efficiently in line with client service standards

• Qualified Solicitor in NI - NQ level
• Strong technical skills and sound commercial judgement
• Excellent communication and drafting abilities
