Corporate​/Commercial Solicitor

Overview

Pathway Careers is working with a leading commercial law firm in Belfast that is expanding its Corporate Team. They are seeking several new team members across different PQE levels (1–10 years). This is an excellent opportunity for solicitors with transactional corporate experience—or commercial contracts experience with some exposure to corporate deals—to join a dynamic and growing team working on high-value matters.

• Act on a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and company reorganisations.
• Draft and negotiate SPAs, investment agreements, shareholder agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Advise corporate clients across a range of sectors.
• Support senior lawyers on complex corporate projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development.

• Qualified solicitor with transactional corporate or commercial contracts experience.
• PQE range: 1–10 years.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
• Excellent client management and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ambition to develop further in corporate transactions (particularly relevant for more junior candidates).
