Personal Injury Solicitor – Defence Team

A great opportunity has arisen to join an established personal injury defence team in Belfast. The team acts for a range of national and international insurers on a variety of claims, providing exposure to a broad and interesting mix of cases in a collaborative, supportive environment. Hybrid working options are available.

• Manage your own caseload of low to medium value claims and assist on higher value matters
• Advise clients and insurers on liability and coverage issues
• Conduct investigations, prepare documentation and liaise with relevant parties
• Work closely with senior solicitors and colleagues across the team
• Ensure matters are progressed efficiently and in line with best practice

• 1-3 years PQE as a Northern Irish qualified solicitor (applications outside this PQE range will be considered)
• Experience in insurance/personal injury defence preferred
• Confident managing a busy caseload and deadlines

• Clear written and verbal communication
• Organised and able to prioritise competing work
• Good research and technical skills
• Attention to detail and professional client approach
• Collaborative team player with initiative
