IT Consultant, Systems Analyst, IT Business Analyst
Overview
We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Service Now Developer for our Life science client.
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Our client is a global life sciences organization operating in a highly regulated environment and undertaking a large-scale Service Now implementation across multiple regions and operating companies. The program spans core ITSM and ITOM modules and is focused on standardizing service management processes, improving operational visibility, and strengthening platform governance at an enterprise level. The Service Now platform supports mission-critical IT services and integrates with a complex ecosystem of infrastructure, application, and monitoring tools.
This role will contribute to both new functionality and ongoing platform optimization.
- Developing and configuring Service Now workflows, business rules, client scripts, and applications
- Supporting ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog
- Supporting ITOM capabilities such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB integrations
- Designing and maintaining integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and MID Servers
- Supporting CMDB data models, relationships, and reconciliation rules
- Troubleshooting platform issues, defects, and performance challenges
- Collaborating with Business Analysts, Functional Consultants, and Test Leads to deliver high-quality solutions
- Ensuring development aligns with Service Now best practices, platform standards, and regulatory expectations
Location:
UK or Europe (Remote)
Duration: 6-month contract
Work hours:
Full-time, aligned to regional business hours
- 5+ years of hands-on Service Now development experience in enterprise environments
- Strong experience developing solutions across ITSM and/or ITOM modules
- Experience building and supporting integrations using APIs and MID Servers
- Solid understanding of CMDB architecture, data models, and dependencies
- Experience working in regulated industries (life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing, or similar) is strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional delivery teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
