Business Intelligence Analytics Developer – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Responsibilities- Execute data analytics projects, from data manipulation to data visualisation.
- Work closely with business functions and data governance to support a culture of data‑driven decision making and a single source of truth.
- Gather and visualise user requirements, supporting the journey to self‑service.
- Contribute to new technical solutions that innovate, increase efficiencies and make data actionable.
- Build scalable solutions, support data engineers to maintain pipelines and automate manual processes.
- Take a lead on complex business challenges and mentor team members.
- Perform ad‑hoc analysis for internal or external users.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and Bank standards for all BI activities.
- Significant experience as an analytics developer with a proven track record of gathering and implementing user requirements through dashboards and analytical tools.
- Strong understanding of at least one BI analytical application (Qlik View, Qlik Sense, Tableau, etc.).
- Ability to translate business and technical requirements into BI solutions.
- Excellent planning, organising and time‑management skills.
- Strong service‑delivery ethic with a focus on quality, competency and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Third‑level degree in IT or a related STEM discipline.
- Experience designing, developing and deploying data warehouses or relational/analytical/multi‑dimensional data marts.
- Experience with Alteryx, IBM Data Stage, Python, SSRS, Hadoop and Spark.
We value teamwork and flexible working. For hybrid roles, we ask colleagues to attend the base location at least three days a week and work remotely the remaining two days. Some customer‑facing roles may require in‑person interaction.
