Project Delivery Lead - Belfast - NEW FDI

A brand-new international technology consultancy is establishing its first delivery centre in Belfast, creating a unique opportunity to join at the ground level and help shape a high-performing engineering function.

This privately held cloud, data, and AI engineering consultancy is headquartered in North America, with an established presence across major global tech hubs. With a team of ~100 engineers, they specialise in:

They work with globally recognised organisations across e-commerce and financial services, delivering high-quality, scalable technology solutions.

As part of a strategic expansion, the business is building a new Belfast-based delivery team to bring key project work in-house and better support international clients.

This is a hands‑on Project Delivery Lead role, focused on leading client‑facing technology projects end‑to‑end.

You will:

• Take full ownership of multiple client engagements
• Lead delivery from planning through to execution
• Act as the key point of contact for clients
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, to scope, and at high quality
• Coach and mentor team members
• Identify risks early and drive effective resolutions
• Help shape delivery standards and best practices as the Belfast function grows

• 5+ years' experience in project management or delivery leadership
• Background in consulting, financial services, or technology environments
• Proven ability to deliver complex, multi‑stakeholder projects independently
• Strong client‑facing and stakeholder management skills
• Solid understanding of modern technology delivery (applications, integration, systems)
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies
• Strong planning, risk management, and problem‑solving capability

• Exposure to cloud, AI/ML, or advanced data platforms
• Experience with in capital markets, fintech, or payments
