Ocho is partnering with a fast-growing, product-led technology organisation to appoint a QA Architect who will play a pivotal role in shaping and aligning test infrastructure with long‑term engineering strategy.

This is a strategic technical leadership position where you will own and drive the design, development, and evolution of enterprise‑level test frameworks. You will work across multiple engineering teams, influencing architecture, embedding testability into design, and enabling high‑quality delivery at scale.

As part of this, you will work across diverse languages, systems, and applications, operating within a modern Continuous Delivery environment that embraces progressive tooling and automation‑first principles.

• Provide technical leadership across test frameworks, automation strategy, and methodologies
• Design, build, and evolve scalable automated test solutions
• Analyse and define automation requirements, monitor test outcomes, collect metrics, and lead reporting
• Champion "built-in" testability throughout all phases of the SDLC, particularly at design and development stages
• Collaborate closely with Development Architects, Product Architects, Engineering and Release teams to maximise coverage, quality, and delivery velocity
• Develop solutions supporting static and dynamic analysis, unit, component, integration, acceptance, and non‑functional testing
• Identify tooling and process improvements, establishing robust standards and embedding best practice across teams

• 8+ years' experience in software testing
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies and techniques
• Proven experience designing and delivering scalable, enterprise‑grade test frameworks
• Strong understanding of Test Automation
• Ability to operate independently across complex and diverse problem spaces
• Must be based in Northern Ireland or within commuting distance to Belfast
