Senior Data/Reporting Analyst - Leading Financial Services Firm (Belfast)

A proactive analyst is required to drive process improvement, data automation, and analytical insight within a major banking organisation.

• Convert data into actionable customer insights to support targeting and segmentation.
• Enhance processes by evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities.
• Deliver monthly reporting (collection, preparation, distribution) while automation is developed.
• Conduct exploratory and confirmatory data analysis.
• Perform testing, quality control, and maker-checker activities.
• Partner with business teams to build, implement, and refine decision strategies.
• Complete data analysis, validation, mapping, and documentation.
• Maintain high data quality through unit testing and timely information delivery.
• Improve existing data sources and support integration of new systems.

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
• 5-7 years' relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent presentation, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated with strong prioritisation abilities.

• Detail-oriented, analytical thinker.
• Strong project/time management and ownership mindset.
• Clear, proactive communicator.
• Curious about technology, innovation, and digital tools.
• Able to work independently with sound decision-making.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint).
