Job Description

We are seeking a Director of Compliance Technology to play a pivotal role in delivering technology solutions for our global compliance organization, with a strong focus on Trade Surveillance, as well as Communications Surveillance, Control Room, and Conduct & Supervision. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will work closely with teams and stakeholders to execute complex initiatives, drive remediation efforts, and ensure systems meet regulatory requirements and business objectives.

Beyond delivering technology solutions, this role is integral to shaping the future growth of our location and strengthening our global compliance technology capability. You will actively contribute to building a collaborative, high‑performing environment, mentoring team members, and fostering knowledge sharing across regions. Your leadership will help position the team as a strategic partner in driving innovation and scalability for compliance technology.

You will bring structured delivery discipline and compliance expertise to design and implement scalable, reliable solutions. You will champion transparency, accountability, and collaboration while maintaining a sharp focus on execution and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities
  • Own the delivery of compliance technology initiatives, ensuring structured planning, clear milestones, and timely execution.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional efforts, aligning stakeholders and tracking progress against objectives, risks, and dependencies.
  • Drive remediation programs, performing root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes for surveillance and compliance systems.
  • Work hands‑on with data and architecture, supporting design decisions and enabling advanced analytics for surveillance and reporting.
  • Ensure disciplined execution, applying governance frameworks to maintain transparency and accountability across programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate compliance needs into actionable technical plans and maintain clear communication.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory changes, helping adapt technology to meet evolving global standards.
  • Promote a strong delivery culture, fostering inclusion, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across teams and vendors.
  • Act as a mentor and culture carrier, supporting professional growth within the team and contributing to the long‑term development of the location.
Who We’re Looking For
  • 10+ years in technology roles focused on Trade Surveillance, Controls, or Compliance within global financial services.
  • Experience delivering complex initiatives across multiple regions, with strong governance and execution discipline.
  • Strong background in data architecture, analytics, and compliance technology.
  • Familiarity with remediation processes and regulatory frameworks (SEC, FINRA, CFTC, FCA, ESMA).
  • Ability to influence and act as a culture carrier, driving collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop talent, fostering a collaborative and growth‑oriented environment.
What You’ll Get
  • A hands‑on role shaping compliance technology for a global organization.
  • Opportunities to work on data‑driven trade surveillance solutions and complex remediation programs.
  • A collaborative environment that values delivery excellence, transparency, and diverse perspectives.
  • The chance to contribute to the strategic growth of the location and play a key role in building future capabilities.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits.
