Overview
Our client is a growing SaaS and Fin Tech company. They build award-winning software for trading, instant messaging and communications, payments and real-time market data analytics. Offering WFH flexibility and brand new offices in central London, they're looking to hire Application / Production Support Engineers. You'll have the opportunity to work with cutting edge applications, support real-time, low latency software. You’ll be key in building out their SRE and Dev Ops area too, working with Kubernetes and Open Shift (OCP), monitoring tools and drive automation and the CI/CD pipeline.
Working directly with key stakeholders you'll be part of a very technical team, looking at root cause analysis, proactive automation and troubleshooting. You'll be able to take real ownership of issues and also be heavily involved in project work and strategic engineering programmes.
- Support real-time, low latency software and applications in an enterprise-scale environment.
- Help build out SRE and Dev Ops capabilities, working with Kubernetes and Open Shift (OCP).
- Utilise monitoring tools, drive automation and contribute to the CI/CD pipeline.
- Engage with key stakeholders and collaborate with a very technical team on root cause analysis, proactive automation and troubleshooting.
- Take ownership of issues and participate in project work and strategic engineering programmes.
- Experience in an Application Support Engineering / SRE / Dev Ops Support role.
- Experience working in an enterprise-scale, tech-driven environment (Fin Tech, FS or SaaS is ideal).
- Networking experience.
- Automation and scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Linux, networking and SQL.
- Knowledge of Dev Ops and CI/CD (Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, Open Shift, etc.).
