IT Engineer

Location: Belfast
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced IT Engineer to join our Belfast-based team, supporting a variety of clients within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone comfortable working across both break/fix issues and ongoing managed services.

You will be involved in day‑to‑day technical support, system maintenance, and project work, covering a broad range of IT technologies and environments.

As an IT Engineer
, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing technical support across multiple client environments
• Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
• Supporting managed services and responding to break/fix requests
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment and systems
• Assisting with system setups, upgrades, patches, and installs
• Supporting networks, connectivity, and general infrastructure
• Following security best practices and supporting backup solutions
• Maintaining clear documentation, reporting, and ticket updates
• Working to agreed service levels and contributing to service improvements

The ideal IT Engineer will have:

• Previous experience working in an MSP or similar fast-paced IT support environment
• A broad understanding of IT systems, hardware, software, and networks
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience supporting end users in a professional setting
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude
• The ability to manage workload independently and as part of a team
