As we continue our journey toward becoming Ireland’s most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our team as an HR Officer.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Work as a partner to the HRBP Supply Chain team to provide the full range of HR services.
  • This role is a 12 month FTC*
  • Be onsite 4 days per week. The position requires travel between various sites in Belfast.
  • Handle HR administration, including resourcing, induction, probation, off boarding, retirement, HR KPIs, payroll queries, and status changes to the HR Operation team.
  • Support and assist managers in employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary meetings and hearings; this includes attending meetings, taking minutes and drafting letters.
  • Support and implement engagement, communications and culture development initiatives on site.
  • Provide HR officer support for HR-wide initiatives and projects.
  • Advise Managers and colleagues on HR policies to promote consistent and fair application.
  • Coordinate, plan and deliver various training interventions; assist in identifying training needs, scheduling and coordinating training, and acting as the point of contact for training and development.
  • Support managers with performance management, absence management, problem solving and engagement.
  • Provide advisory support to individual employees as needed and facilitate problem solving.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with managers and colleagues and ensure accurate record-keeping of employee information in electronic/digital formats.
What We’re Looking For
  • Third level qualification in HR/Business or equivalent.
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar HR role with exposure to employee relations and HR Operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation with the ability to advise on it confidently.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong coaching skills and ability to build relationships and trust with stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and resilience; adaptable to change.
  • Full driving license; travel to various sites required.
  • Flexible working hours; may require attendance on site for meetings on night shifts.
